At Wood and Wax Company are eco-conscious and love to multitask.
Our Wood Wick candle collection includes a beautiful artisan matte finished glass vessel, wax is a coconut soy blend, and wicks are 100% recycled wood.
What comes with a Wood Wick candle + Eco-Package?
Wood Wick candles are special enough on their own, but adding our affordable Eco-Package ups their game entirely. A 40 mm coconut coir soil disc expands to about 3.4 cups of high quality soil (Two times the volume of a 13 oz. wood wick vessel). Add about 1/3 cup of water to disc after placing in clean, empty vessel. Let soil expand fully and mix gently. Plant 2-3 seeds approximately 1, 2 and 3 inches below the surface. Gently firm the surface and water wisely. Give your plant appropriate levels of sunlight, preferably by the kitchen window.
Clean Out:
Freeze your used candle vessel for bout 24 hours. Pop remaining wax out with a butter knife + wipe interior down with rubbing alcohol.
OR
Boil water. Fill vessel leaving 1" at the top. Wax will release and float to the top. Let cool before removing + dispose in trash, not sink.
Voilà!

What Exactly is Coconut Coir?:
Coir, or coconut fibre, is a natural fiber extracted from the outer husk of coconut. Coir is the fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut and adds to water retention of the soil, as well as creating an internal system that allows the soil to drain excess water easier than regular potting soil.
